Copper reads differently under morning light and evening light, on cream walls and grey walls, held in the hand and set into a room. The photograph will never tell you what the metal will do in your house. The sample will.

Care
Keep the card out of direct sunlight; the metals will oxidise faster than usual because there is no oil on your hands to protect them. This is intentional — it lets you see, in weeks, how the finish will look after a year in a bathroom.
