Description
The Crest is our embossed copper basin — hand-raised from a single sheet of solid copper, then finished with a raised relief pattern hammered by hand around the outer wall. Every Crest carries its maker’s mark on the underside and a unique number in the workshop ledger.
Made in Kent
Sheet copper, one and a half millimetres thick, is cut to a disc and formed over a hand-carved wooden mould. The relief pattern is worked into the outer wall by hand, one hammer-stroke at a time, over the course of a full day. The interior is left smooth; the exterior carries the texture. Finally the basin is lacquered with a food-grade seal.

Care
Warm water and a soft cloth. Never abrasive cleaners, never anything acidic. The sealed lacquer protects the surface indefinitely; if you prefer an unsealed “living” finish that patinates with use, tell us at the time of order.
