Description
Our signature freestanding bath — a soft slipper form, hand-raised from a single sheet of copper, and offered in thirteen living metal finishes.
Drawn from a nineteenth-century pattern held in our workshop archive, the Kensington’s shoulder rolls forward at the bather’s head and tapers cleanly at the foot. The rim is thick enough to rest a book on and warm enough to lean into. It is the bath most of our commissions still begin with.
Made by hand
Each Kensington is raised over three to four days by a single copper-smith in our in-house foundry. Sixteen-gauge copper is coaxed into shape with wooden mallets — no press, no mould, no seam along the belly. When the shell is finished, it is stripped, brushed, and finished by hand in your chosen metal — inside and out.

Please Note
Please be aware that all baths are individually handmade to order, so slight variations of up to 5% may occur.
A durable, lacquered finish is available as an option, helping to seal the surface and keep your bath looking like new for years to come with only simple soap and water cleaning.
If you prefer an unsealed “living” finish that will patina naturally over time, please let us know when placing your order.
Overflow & Drilling
Our copper baths are supplied without an overflow as standard. If required, an overflow can be carefully drilled on site.
We can provide guidance on the process and suggest a suitable exposed waste to match. Waste is supplied separately.
Made only when ordered.
