Description
The Stratford stands on cast claw feet — the plainest bath we make, and perhaps the most stubborn.
It draws its shape from the roll-top baths of Victorian Warwickshire — long, high-sided, unhurried. The Stratford does not concede to modern minimalism. It sits four inches off the floor on four solid brass feet, the way baths were meant to sit before we began building them into rooms. Space passes underneath. Light does the same. The eye moves around it, not over it.
Made in Kent
Every Stratford is raised in our Kent workshop from a single sheet of sixteen-gauge copper — no seams, no welds along the belly. The claw feet are cast in solid brass, hand-finished, and bolted through reinforced saddles. Interior and exterior are hammered by hand, then finished in antique copper — the same living surface as our Oxford and Kensington, but with the roll-top’s higher shoulder to hold the heat longer.

Care
Wipe the copper dry after use. Do not use bleach or scouring pads. The brass feet may be polished occasionally or left to darken with the room — both are correct. A light coat of beeswax on the feet once a year keeps the finish even.
